Our Solution: System Requirements

The ChartTracking.net solution runs on the Windows operating system. The following are our recommendations for running the software.

Compatible With:

Server:
RAID 5 Server, Windows 2000 or 2003 Server, 512 MB RAM, redundant power supply, hard drive size dependent on practice size. A backup server is recommended depending upon the size of your installation.
Workstations:
Minitower, Desktop or Small Form workstation. Pentium IV GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional operating system, Microsoft Office XP Small Business.
High-Speed Scanners:
Fujitsu FI-434OC are recommended. 40 pages per minute one side, 80 pages per minute both sides. Black & White and Color. Duty cycle of 3,000 pages per day. Also purchase SIIG AP-20 SCSI Controller Card and SCSI to Centronics cable.
Check-in/Check-out Scanners:
Fujitsu 412OC are recommended. 25 pages per minute one side, 25 pages per minute both sides. Black & White and Color. SCSI card included with scanner.
Backup:
Maxtor 3000LE 120 GB removable hard drives with Belkin USB 2.0 PCI card (installed on server), or tape backup.
