Dear Mary Smith,
Your recent mammogram exam shows no suspicion of cancer. A
radiology report has been sent to your doctor as listed below.
As you may know, mammograms are a valuable tool for
detecting breast cancer. However, they are not perfect. Therefore, we recommend that you
continue monthly self-exams and report any unusual findings to your doctor. An annual
physical exam by your doctor is very important, too.
Your mammogram film will be permanently stored at our
facility, but may be loaned to your doctor or another facility for comparison or
consultation purposes.
Thank you for choosing us to provide you with this
important health service. Please contact your primary care physician if you have questions
about your exam.
Sincerely,
Joe Collins
