Electronic Remittance
With the Electronic Remittance package, your Medicare EOB is transferred to your system electronically via your modem. You can optionally have Medicare transfer funds directly to your clinic=s bank account. All payments, write-offs and deductibles are automatically posted to the patients= accounts.
System Features:
Remittance file downloads from Medicare through the electronic bulletin board
Electronic Remittance Report (similar to your paper EOB)
Electronic remittance update will post payments, write-offs, deductible messages and =insurance forwarded= entries against all patients included in the remittance
Items will be transferred to secondary insurances (MEDIGAP), remain in Medicare or get transferred to the private pay category, depending upon the circumstances
Prints messages regarding EOB requirements, multiple insurance carriers, rejections and Medigap info
All postings are reflected on the daily journal for tracking purposes
