Time Clock System
The Time Clock System is an easy method for calculating employee hours worked. The system is directly tied into employee login/logoff times. Employees are not officially on the clock until they login and begin to work.
This system can feed data directly into your payroll system (even computing vacation & sick time).
Management can use the many reports generated by this program to make scheduling and allocation decisions. Detailed financial analysis may be done based on job category & office location.
Another feature allows employees to view approved time off. Employees can inquire into future schedules and determine for themselves the best time to schedule vacations. This reduces the number of vacation conflicts management has to address.
System Features:
Sign in/out
Each day operators >sign in= using employee # and office location (if applicable). Each employee is linked to a department (can be overridden during sign in). The dept. code is used for production reports and evaluation of labor by department. The date and time are automatically filled in.
Employees >sign out and in= for breaks as well. When employees >sign out= for the day, the system automatically calculates hours worked.
Add Comments
Gives the operator the ability to key in miscellaneous comments (i.e. AAlso two hours travel time@).
Unfinished Entries
This feature is restricted to authorized personnel. It finds all employees who forgot to >sign out=. Management can then follow up with those operators.
Modify Time Info
Allows authorized personnel to change hours for employees. This can be used in cases where employees forgot to >sign in/out= as well as for travel or other odd times that need to be entered.
Print Time Cards
Permits authorized personnel to print all employees daily hours worked, for selected date ranges. This feature can update the data directly into payroll files.
Time Off Entry
Allows authorized personnel to enter approved vacation or sick days into the system. This information updates into the printed time cards. Unpaid time off may also be scheduled here.
View Time Off Schedule
Allows all operators to view employees >time off= (physician schedules can also be included).
