Patient Messages
When a patient calls in with a medical concern and wishes to speak with a doctor, messages are entered into the system, immediately printed on sticky chart labels and placed on the patient chart as a permanent record for future reference.
Once the operator keys in the message, and hits 'SEND', predetermined workstations are alerted, through a small message box, that a new patient message has been delivered.
Either the sending operator or any receiving operator may then print the message label. Along with pertinent patient information, the label will automatically include the date, time and operator who took the message. The operator can also flag a message as urgent, if necessary.
There is the option to delete messages deemed unnecessary to save.
You will also be impressed with how we have automated Pharmacy Messages to make sure that all communications with patients are documented.
