Company Profile: Our History

Software Expressions was founded in the early 1980s by Roger Gersonde, who remains the company's President to this day. Originally called "Independent Computer Services," SEI began supporting in 1984 a medical practice management system developed by C&S Research Corporation. That aspect of our business has grown to include a full menu of healthcare IT solutions including the ProVision Medical Management System.

In addition to the medical software, SEI supported MAS accounting systems and Roger developed custom software products and provided hardware support in a variety of industries. In the 1990s, SEI purchased a transportation software company and brought on several programmers to continue developing the CompuTime fleet management software. This product is still being maintained and has since been offered as an online service.

As the company neared its twentieth anniversary, we began offering web design and development solutions and continued to expand our consulting services. We have since continued to incorporate new solutions into our repertoire while remaining a leader in the healthcare and trucking industries.
